Christmas Tree Tin

Our Christmas tree this year was super cute and the perfect size. This year, I wanted to do something new for the skirt (other than just wrapping fabric around the base).

I found this cute idea online! The stand fits right in! LOVE IT!

However, I had to share the pictures of the tin before we got the tree:

 Sleeping in the tin too:

They had fun with a 17 gallon tin:

Meet Bourbon...

On the night we introduced Elly K to her Elf on the Shelf, we gained Bourbon. Yes, before Elly K could think of any names, my SWEET, LOVING husband suggested Bourbon as the elf's name (we also have a dog named Bourbon) and it STUCK.

Can I hope for a redo next year with the name??

Christmas Eve with the Cashions

On Christmas Eve, we also have dinner with the Cashion side. I snapped this picture while making the kids stay outside so that the last gifts could be put out!

Wonder how many years we can get away with matching outfits?!?

Going to See Santa!

We went to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa this year and let me tell you...it was FUN!

If you didn't know, there is a ton of things to point at in the Bass Pro Shop:

Like A LOT:

So much:

Do you get the picture?:

I even got Elly K in on it:

We did have a successful Santa picture. I was really wanting a crying baby picture but they happen to get the ONE BRIEF MOMENT, Cash wasn't crying....maybe next year:

Christmas Light Mess

We went out a couple of night before Christmas to check out some lights that we were told about. On the way there, Elly K wanted something to eat so we stopped at the gas station for a snack.

EK can eat chips like a champ:

But don't give the bag to Cash just yet....learned the hard way:

Christmas Day at Papa's

On Christmas Day, we have dinner at Jonathan's Dad's house. When we got there Papa had the most wonderful thing set up for the small kids. This tent with balls was the entertainment for the evening:

EK ripping into gifts:

Cash checking out his newness:

Everyone enjoying the evening together:

Papa got a helmet for EK....and she wore it A LOT:

Like all the way home and even while watching cartoons before bed:
