Flip flops!!

No matter what time of year, when it's this warm outside you can't help but wear flip flops! Oh the joys of the South!

Succeeding.....

In January, I didn't want to announce a list of New Year's resolutions only to fail miserably at them. So I thought I would wait and see how one of them went before announcing it to everyone. I guess I can finally post about the exercising habits that I have tried to implement this year, considering today is my 25th day to walk 20 - 30 minutes in 2012!

You see, I have free access to a treadmill at work, so when I started back to work in January, I started walking each day too! Everyday that I'm at work (FYI - I only work 4 days a week), I walk. So far, so good! I have only missed walking 2 days and I'm pretty proud of that too.

Nevertheless, I'm not out to be the fastest or lose any weight, I just want to get off my butt and DO SOMETHING! Some days I only have time to do 20 minutes but other days I can walk 30. AND not that time matters either, I just need to be more active!!

So I hope that you are succeeding at some of your New Year's Resolution's too!

Happy Heart Day

I totally got surprised today at work! I heard the door open to the building and I thought it was just another student going to turn in an assignment they have due today. When I looked up to tell that "student" to staple their paper and put it in the chair, I was shocked to see Jonathan standing there with flowers!! I can't hardly remember the last time someone bought me flowers but I have NEVER been surprised at work before!

Hope everyone is having a great Valentine's Day!!

iPhone Pictures

Since I just downloaded the Blogger app to my iPhone, I thought I would share a few of the 200 plus pictures that I have on my phone. I can never remember to download my pictures from my phone to my computer! And sadly enough, I take WAY MORE pictures with my phone than I do with my actual camera. I have got to get better about downloading because I really don't want to lose all my pictures. . . .

One weekend, Jonathan and I went to Hamilton.  While there, I actually made breakfast FROM SCRATCH two mornings in a row. I even wore a apron!
Waffles:

Sweet Blueberry Drop Biscuits:

Jonathan has decided that I can chauffeur him back and forth from Hamilton (or any other time we take his vehicle on a trip). I really like this picture because he looks like he just got in trouble and was sent to the back of the vehicle. However, I think he looks sad cause he wanted a DVD to watch.

Here I am putting stuff up in the attic for the first time. The boxes were too heavy for me to lift them over my head this time so I got to climb up in the attic and Jonathan handed me the boxes. . . . .such fun.

The rental house has a wood-burning fireplace. This past weekend it got down in the 20's over night so we were able to have a nice comfy fire!

Okay . . . . That's all for now. However, I must get better about taking pictures AND downloading them more often!

Family and a Newbie

I just wanted to kick off the new Lovebugs and Graces with a family post. Since I am no longer working on/updating a house, more of my post might be family related. With that said,  I want to refresh your memory on all the characters in my life (as well as introduce you to a Newbie)!

My Dad (AKA Pop or Pot):
He is "retired" but still manages to be employed by someone at all times.

My Mom (AKA Gram):
She is completely RETIRED and spends a lot of her time with her grand-kids.

My Brother and Sister-in-Law (Lee and CB):
They are still kickin' it in Pelham.

Their newest addition, JACK:
(Sweetness)

 And we can't forget Curt....
Here he is showing us how to correctly use his brother's Bumbo seat:
But this is how he prefers to use it:
He calls this his "Potty Hat".

And now I will introduce you to Jonathan (AKA my boyfriend):

He's been around for a while (almost a year) but since I haven't been up on blogging, I haven't really been able to introduce him to you. Sorry for the delay....

That should do it for the family. Now you can put a face with a name in future blog entries.
