Went into Elly K's room the other day to check on her during her nap and this is how I found her. When I went back in to make sure she had a "breathing hole" at Jonathan's request, she had moved and all you could see was a little hand. So CUTE:

This past Saturday I got Elly K dressed for the day. I was attempting to take a picture of her cuteness but she wouldn't give up the "shocked" face. Not sure what that was all about"

How Far $140 Got Me

This weekend, I decided to do some mini-makeovers on the two upstairs bathrooms. Nothing major since eventually we want to gut these bad boys, just enough to make them "finished" till we can save up the cash for the big renovations. So while Jonathan slept (he is on 3rd shift), Elly K and I hit up the stores! Both bathrooms mini-makeovers cost just under $140 total! I thought that was great considering the shape they were in before. We didn't even have waste baskets in either bathroom.

We have a Tooth!

On Tuesday (10/9), I put Elly K down at her normal time for bed. However, she couldn't get comfortable. We heard her over the monitor for 30 plus minutes still wiggling/cooing/whining. We both went in her room a couple of times to check on her and to put the good ole' paci back in but the last time I went in she just started crying. The same cry she has when she is hurting (like after getting shots). So I picked her up and went to rock her in the living room. I knew something didn't seem right. Dry diaper...check. Full belly...check. Sleepy baby...check. All the makings for a great night of sleep for Elly K. Well, I just thought I would check those little gums of her and there is was! A sharp, just barely out of the skin, small, little tooth. I totally wasn't expecting to feel it but there it was for real!

SO teething has started officially for us:

This past weekend, we made a trip to Hamilton. We had a great time that included playing with Curt and Jack and eating our first round of chili (YUMMY). However, before we left on Sunday, it was time for some fall pictures of the family.
